Dear Townline Families

A Message from the Library
Please check out the link below to see all of the amazing creations from our Townline and Dual Language students! The creativity is incredible.
The principals will be hosting a Winter Luau on Monday, January 11 from 7:00pm-7:30pm via Zoom. Please look for the link on your child’s Seesaw or Google Classroom on that Monday. We can’t wait to hula with our students!
Key to 73 Hawthorn Education Foundation
The Key to 73 Hawthorn Education Foundation is funding hotspots for our very own families in need during the pandemic. We have almost reached our goal of funding the entire project to make sure all children have access to our Hawthorn education. Please consider helping us reach our goal and help our community. Fund our project (English or Español) and learn more about KEY TO 73.
After long manufacturing and shipping delays, our shipment of new Chromebook devices has arrived. Our District Technology Team is hard at work preparing these devices to begin distribution in January, so that we may replace our current devices, as needed. We will reach out with further instructions soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Families needing technology support before, during, or after the school day are encouraged to access our Student Technology FAQ. Families may wish to bookmark or print our technology support flyer. A Zoom Home Help Guide is available for families in English and Español. Families may contact our Instructional Technology Department at email@example.com or 847-990-4239.

Social Emotional Support and Community Resources
Our district social workers and psychologists are an important resource for both students and families, and serve as a liaison to community agencies. Additionally, Text-A-Tip provides anonymous support by licensed counselors 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Simply text your message to 1-844-823-5323 and type “HELLO.” The Lake County Health Department’s Crisis Care Program offers a free, confidential hotline for anyone experiencing a mental crisis.
