Students Paint with Dots

Mrs. Smith, an art teacher at Townline Elementary, focused on pointillism in her art class. She talked about the technique that Georges Seurat used when he painted “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte”. The students then created their own works using Q-Tips to paint small dots.

Pasta for Pennies Fundraiser

Spanish and English speaking students are learning from each other at the School of Dual Language and Townline. Mrs. Bolender’s second-grade class at Townline visited Ms. Naughton’s second-grade class at the School of Dual Language to learn some basic Spanish sounds.
