Townline Letter from Dr. Haack

Dear Townline Families,

I hope this email finds you well.  Here are a few updates from Townline!

Last Day of School

The last day of school is currently June 6th (if no more emergency days are used).  This is a full day of attendance.

The time has come where we begin planning for the 2019-2020 school year.  The Townline staff will soon make student placement decisions for next school year. This responsibility is taken very seriously and many factors are considered during the process. Although learning styles, teaching styles, and classroom blends are vital components in the placement of students, the most valuable piece is the wealth of information the teacher brings to the conversation.  Academic achievement needs, as well as an environment that supports a child’s social and emotional well-being are all essential factors in the decision-making process. We will not accept requests for specific teachers.  However, if you have information regarding your child’s academic or social emotional needs that their teacher would not have, please email Dr. Haack directly by May 1st.

Art Contest

Mrs. Grubb and Mrs. Plohr, our townline music teachers, are looking for artwork for the Open House programs.  Entries are due by April 26. Students will receive an entry form from school as well. Please click below for more information about the art contest as well as the submission form:
